November is nearly halfway through, and holiday shopping is heating up. Retailers have kicked off early holiday campaigns and promoted their first round of pre-Thanksgiving discounts, and in turn shoppers are getting serious about buying.
This week Hitwise released the first trended look at hot holiday products for the season, measured week-on-week. With Black Friday around the corner, let’s take a look at the most popular products of this season.
Hot Holiday Product Searches
The iPhone X hasn’t changed position since last week’s list, and it may very well remain the most popular gift this season. Even the iPhone 8 saw a boost, jumping up to position 5. The Apple Watch emerged on the top ten this week, suggesting people are considering it in the lead up to Cyber Monday.
Popular video games, like Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty were in key spots two weeks ago, and although they remain in the top 10 they dropped several spots last week.
Top Toy Searches
As for toys we see relatively few changes in rank, with Fingerlings, Hatchimals and LOL Dolls dominating the scene. Several new keyword variations for current front-runners (“Fingerling” and “LOL Big Surprise”) appeared on the top ten list as well. Nerf guns stayed steady, and only Pikmi Pops lost steam this week.
