Bing share of searches increases 7 percent for June 2010

New York, NY, July 8, 2010 - Experian Hitwise announced today that Google accounted for 71.65 percent of all U.S. searches conducted in the four weeks ending June 26, 2010. Yahoo! Search, Bing and Ask received 14.37 percent, 9.85 percent and 2.19 percent, respectively. The remaining 70 search engines in the Hitwise Search Engine Analysis Tool accounted for 1.94 percent of U.S. searches.

Cristiano Ronaldo accounted for one-fifth of World Cup player U.S. searches in the past week

New York, NY, June 10, 2010 - Experian Hitwise announced today that U.S. searches on Portugal star soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo accounted for one-fifth of all World Cup player searches last week in the United States. Among a portfolio of all World Cup players, Ronaldo received 19.16 percent of all U.S. searches. Ronaldo also was the top searched-for player in France, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand markets and number four in the United Kingdom.

Experian Hitwise and KENSHOO partnering on search marketing campaign management

New York, NY, May 5, 2010 - Experian Hitwise announced today that that Google accounted for 71.40 percent of all U.S. searches conducted in the four weeks ending May 1, 2010. Yahoo! Search, Bing and Ask received 14.96 percent, 9.43 percent and 2.18 percent, respectively. The remaining 78 search engines in the Hitwise Search Engine Analysis Tool accounted for 2.03 percent of U.S. searches.

Q1 2010 Experian Insight Index: Internet searches for “houses for sale” increase 32 percent in the United States

Experian’s analysis shows that Americans appear to be preparing to put one foot back in the housing markets, with Internet searches for real estate for sale increasing by 32 percent during January to March 2010 — compared to the same time last year.

Facebook is top search term across three major search engines

Search, Bing and Ask received 15.04 percent, 9.62 percent and 3.44 percent, respectively. The remaining 69 search engines in the Hitwise Search Engine Analysis Tool accounted for 1.93 percent of U.S. searches.
