Quality Assurance Engineer

This success has created the need to expand the Quality Assurance team with an engineer with a solid understanding of software testing and Internet technologies. In essence, you will be responsible for the quality of all outgoing software and public material.

Core Activities: 

• Run a suite of tests over every change to the product completed by the development team
• Issue and manage defect reports using the bug tracking system
• Assist in the deployment and documentation of changes on a weekly basis
• Write automated testing scripts
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly executed processes
• Maintain Quality Assurance documentation
• Sanity test new data
  

Essential Skills:

• Previous exposure and experience with QA methodology and principles
• Knowledge of HTTP and HTML
• Ability to analyze and modify code (PHP/Javascript)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to motivate and manage yourself to achieve goals

Desirable Skills:

• Technical documentation experience
• Usability testing experience
• Experience working with statistical data 

You will be working within a team of IT professionals and thus, must enjoy and be capable of being a team player. However, you will also be called upon to work independently and therefore, must be self-motivated and able to effectively prioritize your own workload.
