Reward for Cat Cruelty Abuser doubled to $20,000
Hong Kong SPCA (www.spca.org.hk), the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals announced on January 4, that a $20,000 reward will be offered for any information leading to the conviction of the Mongkok Cat Cruelty Abuser. The reward has been doubled from the initial amount of $10,000 announced on December 22, 2005.
Hong Kong SPCA currently dominates the Community - Humanitarian landscape with a market share of 17.89%; and ranked 2nd in Lifestyle - Pets and Animals with a market share of 7.03% for the week ending January 14, 2006. Amongst local Hong Kong websites it ranked 1st in Community - Humanitarian and 2nd in Lifestyle - Pets and Animals.
Ekin Caglar (www.ekincaglar.com), Hong Kong Red Cross (www.redcross.org.hk), and ORBIS Asia (www.orbis.org.hk) were other competing Community - Humanitarian websites.

The Watsons Water Champions Challenge 2006, held from January 4 - 7th at Victoria Park, featured eight world-class tennis stars, headed up by world No. 1 Lindsay Davenport and world No. 2 Kim Clijsters.
All eight players competed in a quarter-finals draw. The winners of each match went into the Gold Group and the losers into the Silver Group. Then, in each group there were two semi-finals and a final, resulting in a Gold Group Champion and a Silver Group Champion. Each player had an incentive to keep fighting even if the player got knocked out at the quarter-final stage. In addition to the Singles competition, there was a Doubles competition, so the fans got to see all the players at least three times.
The Watsons Water Champions Challenge 2006 (www.watsonswaterchallenge.com) has jumped 84,266 places to rank 2,339 in All Categories; 1,069 places to rank 97 in the Sports category; and 5,146 places to 623 in the Entertainment category for the week ending January 7, 2006 compared to the week ending November 5, 2005.
