According to recent reports from Hitwise Singapore as of week ending 23 June 2007, ESPN's Soccer website www.soccernet.com continues to dominate the online sports industry, capturing 18.65% of visits to the industry, followed by www.espn.com with 6.71% and www.livescore.com with 3.99% of visits respectively. Unlike other sport-specific websites that experience dramatic fluctuations of traffic levels due to the seasonality of their sport, the Soccernet website continually maintains its number one rank in the Sports industry, as visited by Singaporean Internet users.
One of Soccernet's key strength is its brand awareness. As of the week ending 23 June 2007, over 22% of Soccernet's search traffic came from searches for the Soccernet brand. Soccernet's brand strength is further evidenced by its lack of reliance on search engines for traffic. In addition, of all searches for the term 'soccer', Soccernet received 24.7% of visits, followed by BBC News with 6.02% and Yahoo! Signapre Sports with 3.61%. The brand has also been successful at capturing searches for their brand, with almost 73% of all searches for 'soccernet' driving traffic to the ESPN Soccernet website. Other websites receiving traffic from the Soccernet brand are communications websites and networking websites such as eBuddy, MSN Messenger, MediaCorp Radio and Friendster.

The data show that the site is ranked 45 in All Categories, compared to its rank of 55 for the previous week. The top referring search terms driving traffic to www.neopets.com over the past 24 weeks include 'games', 'neopet cheats' and variations of Neopets such as 'neopet' and 'neopet.com'. The website received 12.75% of its traffic from search engines in May.
