An analysis of Shopping & Classifieds - Toys & Hobbies search traffic reveals that 'barbie' was the number one toy searched-for by Singapore Internet users during the 24 weeks ending 12/07/2008. A further 3 search variations on 'barbie', such as 'barbie.com', 'barbie games' and 'www.barbie.com' appeared amongst the top 10 searches.
Over a two year period online interest in Barbie has remained relatively stable, with a 35.65% increase in searches for 'barbie' between the weeks ending 01/07/2006 and 28/06/2008. Other toys which have proved popular online with Singaporeans have included Lego, Transformers, Hello Kitty and My Little Pony.
