Anticipated as the next big weekend for retailers after Christmas, Easter 2018 missed expectations for the House & Garden sector. In this report, we look at top search and product trends over Easter YoY, and spotlight retailers and audiences driving growth in the sector.

You will learn key insights for the Home and Garden Industry, including:

– Despite Easter missing expectations in the House & Garden sector, searches for garden products (w/e 21st April) rose 65%. Compared to the previous week in April, garden product searches were 30% higher than the equivalent week in 2017*.
– The May Bank Holiday (w/e 5th May) saw garden product searches rise by 23% vs. the May Bank Holiday in 2017.
– Other categories have also seen a slight upturn over the Bank Holiday weekend (DIY up 6% YoY and Furniture up 1% YoY).
